Program Details
Yin Yoga targets deep tissues like ligaments, joints, and meridian points (Chinese medicine), enhancing organ chi flow for improved energy and emotional well-being. This practice encourages you to pause, surrender, and foster a sense of peace. In the face of discomfort, you can learn to use your breath as a tool to alleviate stress and anxiety.
Session Structure:
- Breath Awareness and Guided Meditation: Start each session by centering your mind and bringing awareness to your breath.
- Extended Passive Floor Poses: Engage in gentle, extended passive floor poses, with some using props, promoting flexibility and relaxation.
- Poses Held for Up to Five Minutes: Build gradually, allowing for deep tissue release and relaxation.
- Relaxation and Integration: Conclude with relaxation and integration, leaving you feeling calm and revitalised.
