The customer service wouldn't even let me close my account. Which meant the 14 day cooling off period will be up before it gets sorted. And even though I said the SIM cards were urgent they didn't bother to order them, so I've waited 14 days with no SIM card only to be told they weren't ordered. And I now find out the price they quoted was wrong anyway. I was told 2 years of Amazon prime was included but now they say it's only 3 months free Amazon. So I'm going elsewhere where sales reps aren't going to lie to meSomehow every time they send an engineer it just gets worse... multiple times every day the connectiom cuts from all devices in the house then comes back later. Genuinly another horrid company who claims their way better then what they are

I don't tend to write many bad reviews. However, ..dealing with Virgin Media has given me literally some of the worst experiences I have had. Plus in all my time dealing with them, they haven't improved. Just a look at the feedback demonstrates their ineptitude. In fact they've plunged so low that I'm actively dis-engaging from dealing with them now. Dealing with Virgin Media has been amongst my worst experiences bar none. On trustpilot, 90% (that’s over 90,000 reviews) give Virgin Media one star (over 80,000 reviews) or two stars. To then read Virgin media‘s response that they take reviews seriously, read them and use them to improve their service is further insult to an already pathetic and in my opinion not fit for purpose Customer Service. Either they are completely inept or not telling the truth. I am sure this is not the image the Virgin brand founder imagined or sought to portray. A highly frustrating experience, and my service has not even begun yet. Their registration page lacks an email confirmation field, leading me to make a typo when entering my address. I was assured it would be resent within 24 hours, but it never materialized. I then decided to cancel the service request in order to start the process afresh. Following this, I received a missed call, which was immediately followed by an email containing a contract and a customer number. I successfully registered these details on the website and called to confirm the installation date. At this point, I was informed that an error had occurred and was promised a callback within two minutes. That was 30 minutes ago. The situation is surreal, to say the least, and my service is yet to even commence. Furthermore, they show a complete lack of consideration for Spanish or Latin American customers—of whom there are many—by not permitting the entry of two surnames on their website; the system restricts users to just one. I will grant them a few more minutes. If this is not resolved shortly, I shall take my business to another provider. It is simply not worth the hassle. -On Tuesday 2nd June 2026, I called to request the complete removal of my data from their servers. Despite having already cancelled my services, they would not stop calling me with promotional offers. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that the calls would stop. However, as of today (5th June 2026), I am still receiving marketing calls from them—specifically, five calls in just two days.
