Overview
About this therapy
Slow down, create space in the body and the mind with this super-relaxing class. The first part of the class will be Yin yoga, which is a meditative practice. The emphasis is on staying in 'shapes' for 3-5 minutes. Stillness and attention are prioritised above ‘achieving’ a pose. It is mostly floor-based postures, making it a good option for people with wrist problems.
The last half an hour of the class is a guided relaxation called yoga nidra.
Sessions take place Sundays at 10.45am to 12pm at The Open Arms, 46 Quebec Street, Brighton, BN2 9UZ.
