Namaste! I’m Carina, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. I blend my interests in human behaviour, spirituality, and holistic therapies to offer a unique yoga experience. I worked in social care and mental health settings for over a decade and I am a former rhythmic gymnast with the Portuguese National Team and have always loved movement and flexibility. I started practicing yoga in 2012 and quickly became captivated by its ability to create a lighter, more flexible body and enhance my physical health. However, it wasn’t until I faced burnout and anxiety that I truly understood yoga's profound impact on the mind and soul. I now embrace yoga’s holistic benefits for mental and emotional wellbeing. After completing 200 hours of yoga teacher training in Nepal, I now bring that expertise into a variety of settings to help people improve their health through yoga

I have sciatica and I think that the stretches and poses that Carina implements in her routine help with that. I’ve also noticed that the yoga class helps with my mental health and gives me something to look forward to that day. Carina is a nice person easy to get on with and knows what she is doing, a really good yoga teacher
Carina has been teaching on both our ACUTE and PICU female mental health wards. Carina is very talented at her role, she is knowledgeable and patient. We've had some really positive feedback regarding Carina’s sessions and the ladies look forward to her visits every fortnight. A session with Carina is great for the mind, body and soul!
