A published author and pioneer in the field of human behaviour, Chris Croft has been practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for over 20 years, teaching, both in the UK and internationally, since 2005. With over 900 hours of training in the UK, US, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal, he leads workshops, Intensives and retreats in the UK and Europe.

As a pioneer in the field of emotional and physiological well-being (through his ground-breaking work with The Enneagram, a Universal map that unravels the mysteries of human behaviour) Chris’s unique approach to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga blends over 20 years of daily yoga practice and self-study, with a deep understanding of the complexity of human personality patterns. This powerful synthesis awakens a truly inclusive approach, which embraces the differing individual needs of each student who comes to practice. By adapting the entry point to the practice, highlighting key subtle internal alignment principles and encouraging a profound intimacy with the inner breath, Chris brings the Ashtanga method to life with humour and insight.

Amazing yoga session with Jill yesterday it was exactly what I needed (all covid guidelines in place) Jill is an amazing teacher and I always leave feeling incredible, relaxed, grounded and holistically connected. I need more of this.

I just want to express my gratitude for all you have done during this strange year. It may feel that you may not have done much but honestly being able to connect with your yoga practice during the lockdowns has been amazing and healing.

Caroline Twigg · Practitioner review · 5 Jun 2026

You gave me the gift of the yoga habit years ago, through your patience, good teaching style and humour, which has helped me to maintain my flexibility while aiding my walking and running posture with the added bonus of feeling young(er)! I don’t think I can ever say thank you enough.
