About this therapy
While "Full" Acupuncture requires a complete consultation to understand YOU as a whole - there is one exception to this rule - The NADA protocol
The NADA protocol was developed in the 1970's primarily as a treatment for substance misuse and is still widely used in this context in treatment centres both in the UK and the USA.
Since its inception it has now been found to have far reaching benefit and is recommended, in addition to addiction issues, for Mental health, General stress, PTSD, Smoking cessation, Weight loss, Panic attacks, Supporting the immune system, Sleep deprivation, and supporting side effects from intense medical treatments.
Very fine needles are inserted into 5 points in the ear and retained for 30 to 40 minutes. As this is a specific protocol only very basic medical information needs to be taken so for people who are looking for relief from specific conditions - but don't want to discuss their circumstances this protocol can be of great support. The benefits of Acupuncture are cumulative - the more you have Acupuncture the more the body responds and takes hold of the energy it needs.
The NADA protocol was used widely after both 9/11 and Grenfell to support those affected and hugely traumatised by these events and is used widely by Acupuncture without borders in both disaster and war torn areas to help alleviating suffering.
