About Sheila Hawley

Sheila’s background is in holistic massage, which further inspired her interest in complementary therapies. Since 2003, she has trained in a number of therapeutic disciplines and in 2011 gained a BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture). Sheila has continued to develop her clinical skills, gaining qualifications in auricular (ear) and cosmetic (facial) acupuncture and Scar Work ™. Many of her clients visit for pain conditions. Canterbury Holistics is a women’s only space.
Sheila offers treatments from her comfortable therapy room in the St Stephens area of Canterbury. Free parking available on site.
Sheila is fully insured, licensed and a member of The Acupuncture Society and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

Recently moved to Canterbury, and am so pleased to find a brilliant massage therapist within walking distance of my home. Sheila instantly put me at ease and I felt 100% more relaxed when I left. I am ridiculously picky when it comes to massage having done some training in it myself: Sheila knows what she's doing, asked for feedback throughout to make sure I was comfortable with what she was doing, and uses lovely balms which smell and feel great to massage with too. Thank you!
I visited Sheila for some abdominal scars and an ankle injury. The acupuncture helped substantially, alongside massage and a facial which were wonderful. Sheila is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and attuned. I would definitely recommend her. The services were excellent, I will be returning!
